It’s 6 days till Christmas, and it may be time for you to start thinking about what you are going to wear or else leave it to the last minute and have a total freakout as I often do.
I was thinking about the different ways to spend Christmas Day with loved ones and outfits to go along with this. I have tried to include outfits that will suit different body shapes, tastes and, climates.
*All prices are in Australian dollars and I have not bought all the items ( student/ new blogger life) so I do not claim any copyright to the photos. 🎄
For a Family Lunch or Dinner
You want something classic but interesting ( I’ve put two in as this seems to be the most common Christmas day event).
Perhaps this green number from Princess Polly? Which costs $55, and I would style it with tights if it’s cold, and a big fluffy coat, or with simple sandals, and hoops if you are somewhere hot.
Or this lovely skirt, paired with a little grey short or long sleeved top and booties from Posse? I’d also add a coin necklace( this one is $169 but they do have afterparty 😉).
For a beach picnic or party
Something casual but cute and practical. A hat and sunnies are essential.
This baby from Asos; I’m head over heels for the cactus print and would keep the whole outfit minimal to offset the pattern. It’s also on sale for $51! Yay.
For the Fancy event
You want something show-stopping but also comfortable.
You can’t go wrong with a timeless little black number from Petal and Pup which can be worn over and over. If its cold where you are, simply add in a burgundy or navy coat or in warm weather, add in sparkly heels and dangly earrings. Around $70.
For the Brunch or Breakfast
Something which can easily be worn to a family lunch or dinner afterward.
A striped dress from Her Pony, which can be dressed up or down and will be comfortable all day long. I would pair with a white denim jacket, and wedges, or with a teddy coat and heels. $100.
For the Christmas Night out
Something sparkly or eye-catching.
This is self-explanatory; a gold dress, for a festive night out. Also from Petal and Pup. $100.
For Christmas Romance
Something sexy but not obviously so.
A print to show uniqueness, plus a lovely silhouette is a winning formula in my opinion. Loving the back detail too. Minkpink.
